Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and hardworking candidate to join our Operations Team to help our programs scale effectively and efficiently. This role will be responsible for developing and executing on analysis and reports to deliver data-driven insights to internal and external stakeholders, including clients, operations, and sales. You will contribute to the development of Operations’ ability to self-serve and partner with our Data Engineering team to enhance data models used by Operations so that we can answer the questions we need to quickly to run the business.


Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis, translate complex findings into actionable insights, and provide reports to stakeholders, driving data-informed decisions.

  • Metric Development & Reporting: Develop key business metrics, maintain user-friendly reporting tools, and regularly present results with recommendations for operational improvements.

  • Cross-functional Project Prioritization: Leverage data analytics platforms to set priorities for cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with business goals.

  • QA & Tool Feedback: Execute QA/UAT, provide feedback on new tools from data analytics, product, and engineering teams, and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Documentation & Data Governance: Manage documentation for reports applying advanced Excel skills to maintain a data dictionary, ensure data governance, and become a subject matter expert in community solar.

Job requirements

  • 2+ years in analytics or operations with proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Hex, Tableau) and extensive experience in SQL and Excel.

  • Strong skills in data analysis, manipulation, and troubleshooting, with the ability to build standard processes and find creative solutions.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively deliver insights and work virtually with cross-regional teams.

  • Rigorous attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to have:

  • Background in project management and experience working in fast-paced start-up environments.

  • Familiarity with the renewable energy industry, including operational processes like enrollments, billing, and payments.

  • Proficiency in using AI to enhance operational processes and efficiency.

  • Ability to navigate uncertainty and manage gaps in information effectively.
